India vs New Zealand 3rd T20I ended in a tie (DLS method)

New Zealand Captain Tim Southee won the toss and elected to bat.

Batting first, New Zealand were cruising at one point with 145 runs with the loss of 3 wickets in 16.4 overs.

Soon Indian pacers Mohd Siraj and Arshdeep Singh came into action & bundled out the Kiwis at 160(10) in 19.4 overs.

With Devon Conway’s  59(49) and Glenn Phillips's 54(33) NZ were able to put 160 runs on the scoreboard.

India Pacer Mohd Siraj and Arshdeep Singh scalped 4 wickets each.

Chasing the target of 161 runs, India lost the wicket of opener Ishaan Kishan in the very second over of the match. Followed by the wicket of Rishabh Pant and Shreyas Iyar in the third over.

India were able to score 75 runs in 9 overs before the rain stops play. India were on par with the DLS score. The game was called off & the match ended in a tie.

India won the 3-match t20i series 1-0 against New Zealand.

India and New Zealand will now play 3 matches ODI series starting from 25.11.2022
